These are some of the websites I use to educate myself and keep in touch with other enthusiasts
Formerly exceptionalreptiles.com, this is a blog I use to connect with other people. I rarely use this anymore. However, I do have pictures of the dissection I performed on a N. Amyae- just scroll to the first post, or click
HERE.
Another blog I use to connect with other people. I rarely use this one either
I use this pretty much daily. I don't befriend spammers, so if you sent a request make sure to let me know that you're into reptiles.
A subsite of Pethobbyist.com, Kingsnake.com is a great place to buy or sell your reptiles.
A great place to learn and swap information/pictures with other enthusiasts. They also have forums for other gecko species.
The Herp section of the Australian Online Museum.
Of local interest:
To educate the general public about these frequently misunderstood animals, promote conservation of all wildlife, especially reptiles and amphibians, and to encourage cooperation between amateur and professional herpetologists toward a broader and deeper knowledge of this fascinating field.
Run by a good guy named Ted, I buy feeder prey from him regularly. Check him out if you're into plants.
Run by Dr. Karen Becker, this is the best veternarian for knobtails I have found in Chicago.
Run by one of my best friends, Brian Duracka. He is a wealth of knowledge and interesting reptiles such as translucent veiled chameleons, but he also keeps odd insects and plants and is an extremely accomplished turtle and tortise breeder. He's a great guy.
